Chapter 17: The Final Hiding Place

                 EXT. DIAGON ALLEY - DAY

                 The dragon bursts out of the ground and launches itself
                 into the sky, with HARRY, RON and HERMIONE still clinging
                 to its back.



                 EXT. LONDON - EVENING

                 They soar through the London sky, cities and towns
                 gliding out of sight beneath them. When they are above
                 deep green mountains and lakes, the dragon finally starts
                 to descend. Lower and lower the dragon flies, in great
                 spiraling circles, honing in upon a lake.

                                         HARRY
                           Jump, now!

                 They slither over the side of the dragon and plummet feet
                 first toward the surface of the lake, hitting the water
                 hard, while the dragon swoops low over the lake, ahead of
                 them, to scoop up water in its scarred snout. As the trio
                 emerges from the depths of the lake, spluttering and
                 gasping, the dragon flies on, its wings beating hard,
                 landing at last on a distant bank.



                 EXT. SHORE - LATER

                 HARRY, HERMIONE and RON are sitting on the grass, wearing
                 clean, dry robes, their wet clothes spread out on the
                 grass near them. HARRY is examining the cup.
                 HERMIONE looks across the lake to the far bank, where the
                 dragon is still drinking.

                                         HERMIONE
                           Do you think it'll be all right?

                                         RON
                           It's a dragon, Hermione. It's us
                           we need to worry about.

                                         HERMIONE
                           What do you mean?

                                         RON
                           Well, I hate to break this to you,
                           I think they might have noticed we
                           broke into Gringotts.

                 All three of them start to laugh. Suddenly, HARRY touches
                 his scar in pain.

                                                                  CUT TO:



                 INT. DIMLY LIT ROOM - EVENING

                 A goblin is kneeling on the floor at VOLDEMORT's feet.

                                         VOLDEMORT
                           Tell me! What did they take?

                                         GOBLIN
                                (stammering)
                           A small golden cup, my Lord.

                 With a scream of rage, VOLDEMORT slashes his wand through
                 the air. Green light erupts through the room and the
                 kneeling goblin rolls over, dead.

                                         VOLDEMORT
                           He knows about the Horcruxes!

                 There are quick flashes of the following three locations:

                 (1) The Gaunt shack, where the ring was originally
                 hidden.

                 (2) The cave by the sea, where the locket was.

                 (3) Hogwarts castle.

                                                                 BACK TO:



                 EXT. SHORE - EVENING

                                         HARRY
                           The last Horcrux is at Hogwarts!

                                         RON
                           What?

                                         HARRY
                           He was thinking about it, I saw
                           it!

                                         HERMIONE
                           How are we going to get into
                           Hogwarts?

                                         HARRY
                           Let's go to Hogsmeade and find a
                           way in. Get under the Cloak.

                 He pulls the Cloak over them, but they remain visible to
                 us. Their surroundings start spinning around, and when
                 they stop, the trio is in the village of Hogsmeade.
